Rating

Every frame is evidence.

BidaRate is your cue-sports rating — one per game, on a 2.0–10.0 scale, built from the frames you score in real matches.

Why casual frames count

In cue sports the table produces objective evidence. You can lose on purpose; you cannot fake a run-out or a century break. A casual frame contains real proof of what you can do — so every scored frame counts, and no frame is ever “just practice.”

Hard to fake

It weighs who you beat, not just that you won — beating a stronger player moves you further. And it reads how you win: break & runs and run-outs speak for themselves. Under the hood it runs on the same proven rating mathematics trusted in chess and competitive games worldwide — tuned for pool.

Can people cheat it?

The taps are exact by design: in 9-ball and 10-ball the balls fall in order, so one tap records a whole turn precisely; in 8-ball every ball belongs to a side, so a pot always lands with its owner. A wrong tap is one Undo away, and a frame counts only once its result is confirmed. One scrappy frame never defines you — BidaRate reads patterns across many frames, and scores that don’t add up are flagged for review.

Shows early, settles with play

Your number appears once a few frames are behind it, and firms up as the picture fills in. A settled number moves less and says more — it’s the one the public leaderboards use, and it keeps tracking your game as you improve, so it never goes stale.

Your hall already knows who’s better

Every hall has a pecking order that lives in the regulars’ heads. A rating makes it portable — to the next hall, the next opponent, the next bracket. See where it stands today on the Singapore leaderboard.
